QISE Center Launch Event

Faculty, researchers, and students are invited to the Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) center launch event.

Event Details

  • Date: Friday, September 9, 2022
  • Location: Physics Research Building, Room 1080, on The Ohio State University Campus
  • Time: 1 p.m.

The event will begin with opening remarks from university leadership, followed by a presentation of the center objectives and initiatives for the coming year, including seed funding programs to support new research in QISE. Presentations from the region and the Chicago Quantum Exchange will share information on near and long term collaborative opportunities. These opening remarks will be live streamed via Zoom.

We will then host a poster session where attendees can network to learn about the quantum activity occurring across the university and regionally. Refreshments will be provided at 3 p.m. where attendees will also have the opportunity to entangle over a quantum mixer.
