  • State of Ohio Quantum Network Testbed
    • Quantum-secure communications and quantum networking
    • Strong Ohio Department of Higher Education collaboration with OARnet
    • QKD link established on OSU campus in 2025 [announcement]
    • Point to point quantum link in progress between Columbus and Dayton
  • 2 NSF NQVL Quantum Testbeds
    • Lead Institution: Quantum Sensing (DQS-CP)
      • Applications ranging from radiation detection to biology
      • Partners: CU Boulder, MIT, U Chicago, UCSB, QuantCad, QuSTEAM
      • Phase 1 funded in 2024, Phase 2 pending
    • Partner Institution: Quantum Photonics (QuPID)
      • Applications in communications and computing
      • Partners: U Michigan (lead), U Arizona, USC, Honeywell, MONSTR, TOPTICA
      • Phase 1 funded in 2024, Phase 2 pending 
  • Ohio Quantum Consortium (OHQC)
    • Inaugural Year: 2025-26
    • Under this consortium, industry members have access to faculty and student researchers, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as specialty training seminars that are tailored to member needs. 
  • Workforce Development
    • Quantum Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (QuGIP)
      • Supported by NSF funded training grant ($3M)
      • Among the first quantum information MS and PhD programs in USA
      • 6 departments: Chemistry, Math, Physics, CSE, ECE, MSE
    • QuSTEAM
      • Supported by NSF Convergence Accelerator ($5M)
      • National effort at supporting 4 yr and 2 yr UG education
      • Now self-supporting 501(C)3 to continue mission
