CQISE hosted its annual meeting on the OSU campus on April 10, 2026. The successful event brought together faculty, university leadership, industry members, students, and members of the Ohio Quantum Consortium. Attendees were able to hear brief presentations from each of the 5 OHQC seed awardees, with diverse topics spanning post-quantum cryptography to autonomous vehicles algorithms. OSU students from Physics, Engineering, and Chemistry departments put on a poster session, where CQISE Advisory Board members voted on the top 3 to be awarded prizes. Refreshments were provided by generous sponsor JobsOhio. The event concluded with a lively Quantum Career panel specially for the students in attendance, with industry members as panelists - ready to answer student's questions about different jobs in the QIS field.
